Yes. I don't ever listen to the Christian genres. It kinda spoils the music if you're enjoying the rhythm and instruments and then you've got some preaching sermon going on. It gets to me. I don't like that.
On the other hand if I was all religious I'd never listen to black or death metal since it occasionally has anti-religious lyrics. Another perk of not being religious I guess.
What you choose to absorb in your mind will eventually come out in your thinking, rhetoric, and potentially even your actions. There is a great variety of music, but I do attempt to limit what I fill my mind with knowing that the influence of words can indeed alter one's thinking and actions.
Nope; I listen to what I like. Of course, I don't listen to "Christian" music, because it's crap, but that's personal choice, not conviction.
