Nope. I limit myself on what I let in my head. For example, I listen to very little Marilyn Manson or KORN. It has nothing to do with my religion. I simply don't like all the hatred in Jonathan Davis' lyrics (KORN), and I don't like the anti-religious leanings of Brian Warner's (Marilyn Manson) lyrics.
However, I love most metal, and I'm a Christian.
Music, more than perhaps any other artform, is a great way to reach people and find entertainment in it at the same time. I feel sorry for those people who limit themselves to something so great as music in this world.
Unless of course, you listen to those ridiculous "bands" who'd rather scream than sing, curse words than give any lyrics of meaning, or any other form of mediocre music. I'm sure you know which ones I'm referring to.
By the way, not all religious music is that bad. That's not to say that there're loads of good religious music; there's hardly any.
ot in the slightest. I listen to the things I enjoy regardless of the content and consider music as it is, an art. I keep what I listen to separate from my Christianity.
